Brandi Knippa, a Texas native, is a financial educator and Authorized Practitioner with the Nelson Nash Institute. Dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners unlock the power of the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC), she helps clients create long-term financial strategies with the goals of freedom and generational wealth. Married to Matthew for 28 years, the Knippa name is one she proudly carries—a name known across Texas for integrity and solid reputation. They have three grown children: Savannah, Wyatt, and new daughter-in-law Emily—all proud Fightin’ Texas Aggies!
Brandi’s financial defining moment happened in the aftermath of 9/11. After this horrific event, national pride was at an all-time high, but the uncertainty meant companies froze their hiring. The successful technical recruiting business she and Matthew built collapsed within the year, dropping their income to zero. (Many people can relate with 2020+ and its effects on personal economies.) Within months, they prayerfully sold their custom home Matthew designed and built just two years prior, along with the beautiful 50 acres, closed their business, and started over—this time with two babies in tow and an annual income below the poverty line. This heartbreaking period ignited a passion to understand world markets and how our money really works for and against us. As Nelson Nash once said, “If you understand what’s really happening, you’ll know what to do”.
God moved in the coming years, and as Matthew launched a new thriving career in commercial insurance where he became partner, Brandi immersed herself in researching the world of banking, debt, economics, and financial systems. What began as a personal quest for understanding turned into a mission. She designed and taught high school economics courses rooted in real-world financial systems, with a focus empowering Gen Z/Alpha to think critically and act wisely with money.
After over a decade of teaching, The Knippas discovered Nelson Nash’s Infinite Banking Concept—and they adjusted their life to get on board with it. The clarity and control IBC offered was an opportunity to regain, financially, those lost years. Full of purpose and excitement, Brandi transitioned into full time IBC coaching, and now “teaches” clients of all ages and backgrounds, through a shift in perspective, Nelson Nash’s very valuable content. Her goal is to help everyday people reclaim their financial liberty. Life now is very different in the Knippa household, being able to share this amazing concept with others is a powerful life mission, and one Brandi would love to share with you!
